Overview:

This website was for Aventis pharmaceuticals for the drug DDAVP. DDAVP was being prescribed to children as a treatment for bedwetting. The site had to tie into a print campaign that featured a boy alone out in the desert.

Solution:

I felt that the print campaign that featured the boy alone in the desert felt cold and alienating. The project team thought the site should focus on the psychological aspects of what the children must be going through with their bedwetting experiences. We decided to focus on making the bedwetting a family issue to stress that the child is not alone with their problem.


The final site design used the colors and checkerboard pattern to tie it back to the print campaign.


The site used photos of children of various ages and from different ethnic backgrounds which used a randomization script to provide diversity, as well as save the client money on stock photography.
